We are here to serve your entire family’s individual dental needs. Dr. Joel Sharow has extensive experience in Adult, Geriatric and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Joel Sharow has instructed Pediatric Dentistry at Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School and has been in practice for 25 years. Dr. Sharow is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation Dr. Sharow completed a one year general residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. Doc is a strong believer in continuing education and usually completes approximately 100 hours annually. Spending 3 years in the U S Marine Corps; Dr. Sharow is very proud of his honorable discharge.
Starting as a young child building model aircraft and flying RC, he presently holds his private, multi-engine and commercial aircraft license. He has held them for many years. Both Dr. Joel Sharow and his son, future Dr. Kyle Sharow, have owned their homes in Nashville for some time now. Future Dr. Kyle Sharow will be joining the practice after Dental School graduation in the summer of 2015. Prior to starting dental medicine, Dr. Joel Sharow owned and operated a company where he designed and built cars and vans for the disabled to be transported and/or independently driven on their own.

Kyle Sharow

Dentist (as of May 2015)
Kyle A. Sharow was born in New Jersey and spent much of his teen years in Florida. After graduation he spent five years the U.S. Army before moving to Nashville with his honorable discharge.

He owns a home in town and attended TSU with an emphasis in biology. He is presently a junior at Meharry Medical College, graduating with his DDS in May of 2015. He will join his father and Next Generation Dentists at that time. He and Brittany Kudrna are engaged and will be married in July of this year.


Rebecca E. Gates

Dental Hygienist
Rebecca E. Gates, R.D.H., A.A.S., B.S., has been a dental hygienist for 20 years and a dental assistant prior to obtaining her degree in dental hygiene. She is originally from the Northeast and lived in Florida before moving to Nashville in 2007.

Rebecca has continued to educate herself over the years to remain on the cutting edge of new advances in her field. She currently is an active board member with the Nashville Area Dental Hygienists’ Society and serves the community through volunteering and fundraising for the Oral Cancer Foundation Run Event every spring.


Kenyatta Woodyard

Dental Hygienist
Kenyatta Woodyard, R.D.H. B.S., studied Dental Hygiene at Tennessee State University, graduating Cum Laude in 2008. She has been a hygienist for Dr. Sharow for the past three years.

Kenyatta loves to spend time relaxing with her husband and son. She sings and volunteers with the Oasis Church nursery.


Sheena Phillips

Dental Assistant
Sheena Phillips, RDA, 27, is a native of Plant City, Florida. Sheena moved to Nashville in 2005 and is a graduate of Remington College.

She began working with Dr. Sharow in 2006 and has been affiliated with Next Generation Dentists for more than seven years. She spends her free time with family and friends, and enjoys listening to music.

Pam 3

Pam Andersen

Office Assistant
Pam Andersen was born and raised in Chicago before moving to Nashville in 2006. She has worked in the dental field for 20 years and has been affiliated with Dr. Sharow for 18 months.

Pam has two grown children, a son in Franklin and a daughter in Chicago. She enjoys cooking and loves animals.
